Please allow at least 48 hrs for your script request to be processed. If you require a same-day prescription please let reception know - there will be an additional charge for this.

Your long-term medication is reviewed every 3 months. In some instances this will require a GP/Nurse consult every 3 months. For certain medications, and if your medical condition is deemed stable and well monitored, the GP Team may be able to issue the repeat prescription from review of the medical record. Please ask your GP what type of regular review and medication monitoring you will require.

Please try to have the correct name, dose and quantity required. 

​

If after reviewing your Prescription request the GP recommends a clinical review or some blood tests before the Prescription can be safely issued, you will be advised by the Nursing or Reception team.

We can send your prescription to a pharmacy of your choice through NZePS or a paper can copy can be collected by Te Kauwhata Pharmacy. - if you are collecting from TK Pharmacy can you please phone TKP to arrange a time to collect.

If you are requiring Controlled Drug scripts for your medical condition (such as Morphine, Oxycodone, Methadone, Methylphenidate) please make time for a regular GP face to face consult at least every 3 months.
